The Allroad name used by Audi includes a couple of models that features semi-offroad functionalities. Used Audi Allroad models can include some versions of the A6 and A4 lines. From a consumer perspective, the models look rather similar. Their size and exterior design is not that different. Only a few subtle chassis and interior design elements separate them.
Recently, the Quattro line has been included in the Allroad lineup. All the models feature four-wheel drive and V6 engines. The interior space of Allroad models is large enough to make them a decent pick as family cars.
The advanced versions include air suspensions, larger wheels and all terrain tires which make it possible to lower down the vehicle. At maximum height, the car clears 8.1 inches above the ground. Amongst the first models produced during 2000 and 2006, Audi included a V8 version. The twin-turbo 4.2 liter engine was introduced in 2003 and later on a TDI version followed.
