The BMW X1 is a crossover SUV. Apart from being compact, this 5-door SUV is also quite luxurious, as can be expected from most vehicles in the BMW line. The BMW X1 was launched in 2010 and it is slightly smaller than the X3.
It comes in 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions and has 25 cubic feet of cargo space. Some reviews say that this is not enough; however, this can be increased if one folds the back seats down.
The X1 is the first BMW SUV to offer a rear-wheel drive. There is plenty of leg room, comfortable raised seating positions and soft-feel materials are used throughout the touchable surfaces. Although a used BMW X1 may seem a bit simple when compared with the other BMWs, nothing is cheap about it and it is a great compact SUV for singles, couples or small families.
